Hard to find A.F. Stoeger American Eagle luger. Standard 1920s import DWM luger with a two line import address, on the right side of the receiver, "A.F. STOEGER INC. / NEW YORK.". There is an American Eagle motif on the top of the chamber. DWM in scroll on the front toggle link. Crown N commercial proofs on the barrel, receiver and the breech block. "GERMANY" export stamp on the front of the frame below the serial number, and on the bottom of the magazine Correct unnumbered wood bottom magazine. Two piece checkered wood grips. Gun is numbered in the commercial style and is all matching numbers. CONDITION: This gun retains the majority of the original factory applied blue finish. The straw parts have all silvered. There are some spots of finish loss and some high edge wear. Checkering on the grips is sharp and crisp. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves.
