Manufactured circa late Spring 1945. "W" and Winchester proof marked barrel with milled front sight and "H" adjustable rear. Blued round bolt. Rebuilt internals with M2 magazine catch and flip safety. Low wood stock marked "W" in the sling well. Cartouches appear added at a later date. 4 rivet top wood retained by an "SA" bayonet lug band. Complete with green woven sling. CONDITION: Good. Metal components retain the majority of their faded arsenal finishes with some expected moderate wear. Stock appears lightly cleaned with marks throughout. Very good, bright bore. ME reads approximately 1/2. Fine mechanics. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
