Originally a gramophone manufacturer, Continsouza produced M16 barrels and receivers during WWI. This standard configuration example features arsenal blued finish, heavy blade front sight, tangent rear, and 2-piece finger groove walnut stocks. Matching numbers observed on trigger guard, bolt, and stock. Complete with a leather sling and non numbers matching bayonet and scabbard. CONDITION: Very good. Rifle retains the vast majority of its faded arsenal finish. Stock has some light impressions and attic burn but rates very good overall. Crisp, well defined bore. Fine mechanics. Bayonet has some pitting on the scabbard but otherwise is in good condition.
