Manufactured in Praga (Prague), which was in the Austrian Empire, in 1915. Features include matted rib, ivory bead sight at front and midpoint, ejectors, sidelocks, disk set strikers, hinged front trigger, dual triggers, non-automatic safety, walnut stock and forearm, and steel skeleton buttplate over serrated butt. Forearm and stock are checkered, forearm further cut with decorative serrations. Frame is tastefully engraved with tight vine borders with swirls of acanthus scroll interrupted by floral vignettes. Fences have decorative relief cut bands in groups of 3 over scrollwork. CONDITION: Excellent, as professionally rehabilitated, with metal assemblies retaining almost all of their reapplied finishes. Trigger guard shows more wear than the rest of the gun with handling-related thinning. Stock and forearm are excellent with no major signs of distress and checkering sharp. Action is tight and on face. Ejectors are strong and in time. Bores are bright and smooth. An attractive shotgun very close to Best Quality.
