Manufactured in 1937 on a long tang receiver. Blued steel Winchester Proof Steel round barrel with hooded ramped blade front sight and desirable bolt peep rear. Half length magazine. Winchester pattern deluxe style checkered forend and pistol grip stock with hard rubber WRACO grip cap and checkered steel butt plate. CONDITION: Excellent as restored. Nearly all of the expertly reapplied blue is retained with some mild freckling under the finish. Stocks are lightly cleaned with scattered handling marks and a few larger dings. Fresh cut checkering. Crisp mirror bore. Smooth mechanics. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
