Manufactured in 1897. This saddle ring carbine features the scarce button magazine with single barrel band. Round barrel, post front sight, ladder rear sight, blue finish, walnut stock with steel trapdoor butt plate and matching forearm. CONDITION: Very good. The stocks are a modern replacement, expertly fitted and oil finished with nice grain. All metal is soft grey patina with flashes of blue and some strong blue on loading gate. The action is smooth. The bore is strong, well defined, with some abrasions. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
