Set of Two Lenses for A-1 Gasoline showing hand painted font across the outer glass of each lens. C. 1930's, A-1 Oil Company, Parsons, Kansas. CONDITION: Lenses are each in good condition showing no notable damage to the glass with clean outer edges. The original painted surface on the lettering has scratched and shows paint loss but also shows excellent crackling to the paint giving each lens an excellent patina. Lenses are a Rarity 6 in the Gas Pump Globe Book By Scott Benjamin. An excellent displaying pair of rare lenses with an excellent original patina.
