DSP. Marked "Sinclair. SO-1." This C. 1930's double sided porcelain lollipop sign features the iconic company logo with a wonderful Dino graphic. This sign retains an original cast iron base marked "Sinclair Oil." CONDITION: Side 1 shows good color and shine in the field. There are isolated areas of touch up on this sign, largely confined to the outer white border and green and red sections of the field. Clear coat was applied as well. There is light spider webbing throughout the field, which is most notable in the white sections of the lettering and graphic. There are also surface scuffs in the gloss. The outer edges of the sign show porcelain loss, the worst of which is on the left center edge (7.0). Side 2 shows similarly nice color and gloss. There has been light touch up done on this side as well. The outer white edge, and inner green and red sections of the background show scattered areas of touch up and clear coating. The outer edges show minor porcelain loss and wear as well. There are a few surface scuffs in the field and light spider webbing (7.0). The mounting clips, ring, pole, and base have all been repainted at some point in the past.
