DSP. Maker Marked "Veribrite Signs. Chicago." This C. 1930's double sided porcelain oval sign from The Ford Motor Company features the iconic script logo with a wonderful dark cobalt blue background. CONDITION: Side 1 shows surface scuffs in the field with a few scattered porcelain chips, the worst of which is isolated to the left side of the sign and in the letter "F." The outer edges show chipping as well, most notable on the left center border and the mounting holes (8.0). Side 2 retains good color and gloss. There are isolated porcelain chips in the field. The outer edges show general wear with porcelain loss, the worst of which is on the right border where there is also bending to the metal. The top mounting holes show porcelain loss as well (8.0).
