Manufactured in 1938. Standard rifle with blue finish, ramp front sight, filled rear sight slot, brass cartridge counter, replacement press checkered walnut stock with pistol grip, Monte Carlo comb, Savage metal butt plate, sling eyes, and non-matching forearm. The lever is case colored. Sports a Redfield peep sight. CONDITION: Very good. Retains majority of thinning blue on the barrel with traces of thinning finish on frame. The forearm is from a deluxe model and has an added coat of varnish with handling marks. Some color remains on sides of lever. Bore is bright.
