DSP. C. 1930's Porcelain Sign for Texas Pacific Gasoline & Motor Oils showing unique Teepee graphic with checkered outer field. A product of Texas Pacific Coal & Oil Co., Fort Worth, Texas. CONDITION: Side one is overall excellent showing bright color & gloss throughout the field. Side one shows one nick at the upper right as well as one spiderweb at the lower left field. Side one shows Chipping at the "E" of Gasoline as well as along the lower edge. Side one shows chipping at the upper mounting holes, (GRADE 84). Side two is also in exceptional condition showing bright color & gloss throughout the entire field with only one small nick at the lower right of the Teepee graphic. Side two shows minor surface scratches and light spiderwebbing in the porcelain at the upper left and right. Side two shows touch up at the "MO" of Motor reflective of the chipping that is on side one. She two also shows color match in the outer red border with touch up at the upper mounting holes but nothing that extends past the outer red border, (GRADE 82). Sign is mounted in the original metal ring showing original hanging hooks. Ring has been painted in matching red and displays the sign incredibly well. A very tough to find piece in high grade and an exceptionally well displaying Sign.
