Referred to as the small frames, these were the earliest Model introduced around 1942. Over 14000 of these purchased by the Government at start of war. This is a commercial model with the high polish blue finish, monogram gutta percha grips, fixed front sight, wind drift rear sight and made at the New Haven plant. It comes in an original box, three magazines, two of which are two tone and tempered, an original hang tag, some after market white plastic grips, a belt and a holster. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains majority of blue but thinning on straps, a touch of muzzle wear, some high edge wear, bright bore, excellent grips.
