Lot consists of: (A) Civil War M1860 cavalry saber in standard configuration with dark gray patina and freckling on blade. Hilt with mellow patina. Grip with replaced leather wrap. Complete with scabbard that exhibits a heavy dark patina. CONDITION: Poor. (B) M1840 NCO sword marked "HORSTMANN'S / PHILA" on ricasso. Blade is bright with scattered blemishes. Dark patina on brass hilt. Complete with leather scabbard that exhibits scattered cracks ans one break that was repaired with black tape. Stud is attached to a leather sash with belt plate. CONDITION: Good.
