This high quality Italian reproduction of an 1863 Sharps Business rifle with rust blue full round barrel that has the "US SHARPS MERIDAN, CONN" barrel legend with New York importer stamp. The receiver, hammer, and butt plate are case colored with Sharps patent legend on both sides. The straight grip walnut stock is checkered as is the round forearm. The rear sight is Lawrence type with base front sight. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains nearly all the factory blue and case colors with some high edge wear and handling. The lever is plum. Butt plate shows most color but some scratches at top. Stock displays scattered impressions. Bore is bright.
