Barrel is dated 9-43. A standard issue rifle with walnut stock and hand guard with no finger grooves. Left side has the proper three cartouche stamps FJA Frank Atwood, RA - Remington Arms and ordnance wheel. There is a proof P under wrist with several sub inspector stamps. The floor plate is milled. Frame and bolt are a green tint parkerized with blue 03-A3 rear sight and sight hood. The barrel band is pressed. Butt plate is coarse checkered with trip. Rifle comes with proper steel frog sling. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains majority of arsenal finish with some handling marks. The stock cartouche stamps are strong. Stock is rich colored with minor impressions. The bore is well defined but frosted.
