Mid series (mark indistinct, looks like 22 or 24?) made a Tokyo Kogyo. Protected barleycorn front sight, aperture peep rear sight, flip up ladder with sliding aperture sight graduated to 1500 meters, with deployable anti-aircraft sings. Monopod slot vacant. Chrysanthemum on receiver intact. Matching full or partial numbers on receiver, bolt handle, and ejector; not disassembled to verify internals. Straight quillon round pommel bayonet with Toyoda Jidoshoki Seisakusho proof at ricasso. CONDITION: Good, with smooth chocolate patina to metal parts with some scattered mossing and light pitting, wood with handling marks and impressions throughout. Mechanically fine, bore is very dark with visible rifling. Bayonet very good, scabbard largely gunmetal grey on exposes areas with chocolate mossing throughout, majority of bluing retained on blade with evidence of sharpening.
