The basis for this fine custom rifle is a US Model 1917 action. The new barrel is not marked but is stamped ".300 H&H Weatherby". Rifle sports a high polish blue finish, jeweled bolt, banded ramp front sight, rear sight holes but no sight, and sporting Kuharsky Bros adjustable base with a Bausch & Lomb 2.5-7x scope with standard crosshair reticle. The high grade walnut stock features superb deluxe checkering, pistol grip, black grip cap, and a vintage Dupont waffle pad, both with white line spacers and a black fore-end tip. The stock features a Monte Carlo comb with a roll over cheek piece. CONDITION: Fine. Rifle retains the majority of custom blue finish with light muzzle and handling wear with exception to the floor plate that shows consistent edge wear & thinning. The stock shows some rubs and impressions and originally had a side mount scope base such as a Griffin & Howe, as are there are four holes on left side of receiver along with the inlet cut in stock. Bore is strong but frosted. Scope finish has multiple scratches, optics are clear.
