Built as an M44 carbine in 1945 on an earlier hex receiver. Standard arsenal blue, hooded post front sight, tangent rear, folding cruciform spike bayonet, and oil finished hardwood stock. Force matched numbers. Import marked on receiver. CONDITION: Very Good. Good, bright bore with a bulge near the muzzle.
