Standard early WWI issue features an SA bomb 5-17 stamped barrel, all milled steel WWI parts to include rear 2700 yard sight with dished & knurled knobs. Metal finish is blue. Walnut stock as the DAL (Daniel Leary) cartouche stamp on left side with P on wrist. Butt plate is coarse checkered with trap. Stock has the wide finger grooves, two re-enforcing bolts and handguard with a 2.5" sight groove. CONDITION: Fine. Barrel and frame retain generous WWI era blue with more than 70% on floor plate, balance thinning with patina. Stock is excellent with usual minor dings & impressions. There is a cross pattern made with little light circles. Bore is razor sharp but frosted. A really clean early WWI 03.
