This is a pre war Walther made single shot bolt action often used as training rifles within the German military but this example found it's way to England as evidenced by the numerous proof marks at barrel breech. Rifle features a checkered round knob walnut stock with finger groove, straight comb and swivels. Finish is blue. Barrel is missing the front sight but base is present. Military style rear sight is present. Rifle sports a Weaver K4 scope with clear optics. CONDITION: Excellent Metal retains nearly all the blue finish with light handling with note to the trigger guard which is turning patina. Stock is excellent, sharp checkering, with light impressions. Bore is bright.
