This sturdy no nonsense rifle was introduced in 1950 as the Model 340 series. It is a magazine fed, bolt action with blue finish, ramp front sight, semi buckhorn rear sight with a walnut plain pistol grip stock that sports a black plastic butt plate. The left side of frame was tapped for a scope mount of some type and wears filler screws. CONDITION: Fine. Metal retains the majority of it's rust blue finish with scattered light handling marks. The stock shows numerous light dings, impressions and spots of finish loss. The bore is strong with lightly frosted grooves.
