This rifle was introduced in 1966 and gained instant praise for the butter smooth and ultra strong action. The Mauser banner is found on the receiver bridge and side. Finish is high polish blue. The barrel was made without sights. An adjustable rail holds a Pursuit Target 6-24x44AO scope with clear standard cross hair reticle. The walnut stock is reminiscent of a Weatherby with exaggerated Monte Carlo comb, very low roll over cheek piece, basket weave diamond checkering, rosewood grip cap with maple inset and rosewood fore-end tip. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains virtually all of the high polish blue finish with light handling marks. Stock shows only some minor impressions. Bore is bright. Beautiful rifle.
