Serial # 479766. An outstanding early US Springfield. One of the nicest early single stock bolt rifles. This rare, early NRA match issue is in new condition. Barrel dated 4-11. Bore appears unfired. Brilliant with all the blue finish. The forward trigger guard tang is stamped with "Ordnance Bomb/NRA". The stock and handguard are immaculate with all feathered original finish. Mint "JFC" cartouche and "P" stamped on the stock grip. A truly superb and brilliant example.
