Popy's sole experiment with steel stamped super-robots, SG-01 purportedly sold out after its initial toy release in Japan. Chrome insides and all the glassy enameled parts set off this stunning boxed set. It will be challenging to find a better example with original inserts and new old stock appearance. Note that Yokoama's Tetsujin, much like Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy, was influenced by the artist's wartime experiences. In Yokoyama's case, this was through the bombing of Kobe in World War II.
