LOT OF 2: GERMAN WWII KRIEGSMARINE FORE AND AFT CAP AND FOUL WEATHER CAP.
Lot contains: (A) German WWII Kriegsmarine "fore and aft" cap which is unmarked. Top exhibits moderate dust (will clean up), light wear, and bullion cords have heavy patina, tricolor is slightly stained, and large KM button retains almost all of its gilded finish. Sweatband and lining are undamaged and clean. CODITION: Overall very good. (B) German WWII Kriegsmarine foul weather cap which appears to be unissued, with only light staining on the interior crown (which appears to be from the glue used to water proof the seams), is marked "1940, WILLY SPRENGPFEIL MUZTENFABRIK, HAMBURG 19" with a Waffenampt, and size marking of "60", etc. Rubber protective cover is supple with no visible damage. CONDITION: Overall excellent plus.
