Early brass ship’s compass with oil lamps on the sides. Compass appears to be in working order at 15” tall, and in excellent condition. Christening Bottle contains plate reading “S.S WASHINGTON ALLSTON FEBRUARY 9, 1944 MRS. NINA SMITH SPONSOR NEW ENGLAND SHIP BUILDING CORPORATIONS”, and is inside a wooden box with a glass lid.
