Late 19th century, France. Each bed with a serpentine crest surmounted by cast brass gilt crest. The head board and foot board with molded and cast ormolu foliate trim boarders. The paneled head and foot boards each raised on short cabriole legs with cast brass sabots. Each bed with fitted rails similarly decorated. The matching two drawer night stand with figural mahogany and cross banding with serpentine molded top above the conforming case fitted with a bank of two drawers with cast ormolu handles raised on cabriole legs with ormolu trim, terminating on cast sabots raised on casters. Note: the pair of beds will accommodate a standard single sized box spring and mattress of approximately 39" by 76". The headboard is 65" high, footboard is 39-1/2" high, overall length is 83", interior length is 79" with an interior width of 31". All three pieces are in very good condition. The nightstand with a slight blemishing on top.
