Comprising: (A) A reverse "P" hilted cavalry saber with checkered bone grip in poor condition with dark patina, missing half of grip. (B) A Model 1840 light Artillery saber. Blade stamped "FOR NEW JERSEY" and dated 1863. Blade by Emerson & Silver of Trenton, New Jersey. Complete with steel scabbard. Fair condition; blade retains a grey spotted patina with traces of nickel finish.. Hilt unpolished. Grip missing most of brass wire with some losses. Scabbard missing throat mount. (C) A good Model 1860 Cavalry saber by C. Roby and dated 1864. Excellent condition; blade is near mint with almost all of original polish and excellent, deep markings. A couple minor nearly unnoticeable nicks on edge. Hilt and grip excellent; some minor scuffs on leather. Complete with steel scabbard in excellent condition with grey patina and some areas of dark brown spotting. This is a great grouping of Civil War era sabers, including one of the nicest Model 1860 Cavalry sabers that has survived.
