During the 1830s to the 1860s, revolving Pepperbox firearms were one of the most widely used and recognizable weapons of the era. It offered 5-6 successive shots in a double action mode with a top hammer percussion system. (Gun A) Allen & Thurber Worcester, .32 caliber, 6 shot, double action. Metal surfaces are basically clean aged grey brown patina. Has excellent original walnut bag grips, strong barrel legend, light barrel engraving on shield and barrel is 3 - 3/8". Original nipples. Barrels rotate and index properly but the trigger needs a new retaining spring Poor bore. (Gun B) Twin to the above revolver in the same caliber but is in perfect working order. (Gun C) Basically the same as the two above in both condition and caliber but has the longer 4-1/8" barrel and is in perfect working condition. All three of these antique Allen revolvers are honest and untouched.
