Lot consists of two Guidons and a framed print of the Spanish American War. In the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Air Force, a guidon is a military standard that company/battery/troop or platoon-sized detachments carry to signify their unit designation and branch/corps affiliation or the title of the individual who carries it. This lot includes two such guidons. One is blue, depicting golden crossed rifles, 120/3 division. Second is Battalion headquarters artillery unit 295. CONDITION: Blue Guidon is fine complete, with some creases. Red guidon has some losses. The print is a matted copy of an original 1898 done by A.C. Redwood for Colliers magazine in 1898 entitled "US Regulars Leaving for the Front". CONDITION: Fine.
