Lot consists of: (A) Early WWII field pack assembly consisting of an M1910 haversack that is loaded with equipment. The haversack contains a 1943 dated mess kit, shovel with 1943 dated cover, 1908 dated M1905 Springfield bayonet, M1911 leather holster marked Boyt, USMC marked M1911 magazine pouch with one magazine, and a wool blanket. CONDITION: Shovel is rusty, leather on holster is soft but shows cracks and wear, pack shows slight staining. All pieces range from fair-very good. (B) WWII USMC field pack assembly consisting of a USMC marked 1944 dated haversack, USMC marked 1942 dated knapsack, USMC poncho that is contained inside of the haversack, rolled half shelter, and wool blanket that is rolled within the half shelter. CONDITION: equipment exhibits light staining and wear. Overall very good. (C) Late WWII field pack assembly that consists of an M-1945 field pack with shovel in 1944 dated cover, wool blanket packed inside of the field pack, and Vietnam War half shelter. CONDITION: Pack and gear exhibits some staining and wear. Overall good. JLD
