Lot consists of three of World War I posters dealing with Liberty bonds and loans. (A) Features a wounded infantryman standing on the frontlines wielding his 1903 Springfield rifle and carrying with him three German helmets as souvenirs. CONDITION: Very good to excellent condition. The top left corner does have some light chipping into the background only and some moderate foxing along left side that goes into the background. Brilliant colors. (B) For Home and Country. Shows a returning soldier with his wife and child. CONDITION: Beautiful bright image, overall toning to the background, but there is some severe chipping on the lower 1/3 of the right corner and along the bottom that can be seen in the photographs. The image is classic and quotes "What we are fighting for. Home & Hearth." (C) "Beat Back the Hun." It is featuring a menacing German solider with blood dripping off his hands and bayonet as he crushes a destroyed village. CONDITION: Brilliant colors, excellent condition with just some light toning. A very graphic WWI poster. (A) and (B) measure 30"x40". (C) measures 20"x30 - 1/2". All three are framed with no matting.
