Lot consists of (A) High condition M1917 helmet marked "NHX" under the rim. The helmet exhibits almost all of its original sawdust textured paint with a few scattered chips and scratches. The original liner remains intact and is secured to the helmet with correct P17 bales. The liner is perfectly preserved, the leather is soft and pliable, the wool is intact, netting is secured, and the helmet even retains its original tag. CONDITION: Excellent. (B) Mark I Brodie helmet with smooth green paint and bronze EGA marked "ZE44" under the rim. The paint exhibits various blemishes and there is light surface rust. The original liner remains intact and is secured to the helmet with larger British style rivets. The liner is nicely preserved, the leather is soft and pliable, the wool is intact, and the rubber doughnut remains in place under the wool. The chinstrap exhibits cracking. CONDITION: Good. (C) M1917a1 Kelly helmet marked "5A" under the rim. The helmet retains almost all of its original sawdust textured paint and is complete with the original liner, chin strap and the small leather skull pad. The leather remains soft and pliable. CONDITION: Excellent. (D) World War II green fiber sun helmet dated "Aug 9, 1943" and named to "Poole" on the interior. Liner is intact, slight scratches and scuffs, one small tear on the interior. CONDITION: Very good. (E) World War II USN marked fiber sun helmet. Liner is intact and there are scattered scratches and scuffs. CONDITION: Very good. JLD
