The first is a gadget cane with a screw handle, top section separates to form a "X" bracket. The second is a cast iron toy cap pistol gadget cane, circa 1880 by National. The third is a gadget cane that separates to form a portrait or book holder. The fourth is a gadget cane that separates to expose a string instrument with four strings, very unusual. The last is a gadget cane which unfolds to form a tripod, signed and dated 1863.
