LOT OF 7: ASSORTED JAPANESE CAR CARRIERS AND TAXI CARS
(A) C. 1958-1960. S.S.S. Toys/Cragstan Model S-1057 Automobile Carrier, a Japanese tin and pressed-steel toy truck, accompanied by three original companion cars. (B) C. 1950s. Japanese tin-lithographed, battery-operated “Trail-Mobile” tow car and “House Trailer” set, manufactured by T.N./Nomura and likely imported or distributed in the United States by the George G. Wagner Co. (C) C.1950s. Japanese tinplate friction-powered “Yellow Cab” taxi featuring a yellow body, rooftop “Taxi” sign, “Yellow Cab” plaques on the sides, rubber tires, and metal hubcaps. (D) C.1950s. Mizuno/Nihon Alps “Electromobile” battery-operated tinplate taxi with its original box, manufactured in Japan.
