Single 15" Globe Lens on Metal Low Profile Body. An excellent and bright example of this C. 1930's Globe Lens from Marathon Ethyl Gasoline, a product of Transcontinental Oil Company, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Lens features outstanding Marathon script as well as Running Man and Ethyl Burst graphic. CONDITION: Lens is excellent overall showing excellent colors with very limited surface wear. Lens shows some minimal surface scratch on the face as well as some minor spotting in the white backing but overall outstanding. Lens shows some minimal wear marks along the outer edge but excellent overall. Lens is set by snap-ring into an original Low Profile Metal Body which shows an older repaint in green with a blank lens on the backside. An excellent example overall of this highly sought after lens from Marathon.
