Manufactured from 1875 to 1889. This truly outstanding example is finished in bright nickel with nitre blue screws. Classic 7 - 1/2" round barrel rolled with "E. REMINGON & SONS. ILLION N.Y. USA". Small blade front sight and frame notch rear. Frame stamped on the left "44", designating popular cross compatible .44-40 Winchester chambering. Grips are smooth 2-piece walnut with lanyard loop butt. CONDITION: Excellent, near new. Revolver retains nearly all of its still lustrous factory applied nickel finish with some mild surface scratching, a turn line, and a few flakes on the right side of the frame near the grip. Trigger and screws retain the vast majority of their nitre blue. Hammer likewise retains nearly all of its strong and attractive case colors. Grips are very fine with only light marks. Very fine, bright bore. Very likely unfired. Crisp mechanics. It would be very hard to improve on this phenomenal example. An excellent addition to any fine collection.
