Circa 1876 and 1877. Revolvers feature full, brilliant factory nickel finish, British proofed 2 - 1/4" round barrels with "COLT NEW 32" etched panels, half moon front sights, spur triggers, and 2-piece varnished rosewood grips. Revolvers are housed in a French-fit leatherette case with cleaning rod and 10 rounds of period ammunition. Case lid impressed with a gilt broad arrow, the inside marked "MADE IN ENGLAND". CONDITION: Gun (A) rates excellent, retaining nearly all of its factory nickel. Small parts likewise retain significant portions of nitre blue. Grips are fine with light marks. Bore is strong with some freckles. Crisp mechanics. Gun (B) also rates excellent but has a few minor spots of nickel flaking and loss. Grips are fine. Bore has some black powder oxidation. Mechanics are a little sticky. Case is very good and presents well, some fading present on the satin lid liner.
