Carved onto the cast iron stove reads "Co-operative Foundry Co." and "Rochester, NY." at the front. "Jewel" is noted multiple times, sometimes centered in front of a sculpted crown. Dated 1877 on the back but the stove has been repaired. It is mostly cast iron with 2 small silver details sitting on opposite sides of each other. Wood burning cast iron stoves were able to conduct a lot of heat and can withstand dramatic temperatures.
