Lot #2108:
ORIGINAL COCA-COLA FOR 1949-1950 TY COBB ARTWORK
This is a one-off, and comes with a letter from Robert Youngblood, who worked for the Coca-Cola Bottling Company in the 1960s. He took this and other marketing material out before it was thrown out in the garbage. A fabulous rendition. Includes a letter from his son and a picture of the 1950 Coca-Cola advertisement. Great depiction of Cobb choking up on his bat with his Detroit cap on and his usual fierce persona.
Item Dimensions: 25" x 24".
