This poster is framed behind glass and has a plaque on the front that reads "Wells Fargo Reward Notice/Posted in Auburn, California 1875". The reward poster states "Wells Fargo & Co.'s Express Box, on Latrobe & Fiddletown stage route, was robbed today, by two men, one mile from Plymouth, of $7000 in Gold. We will pay $500 each for arrest and conviction of the robbers, and one-fourth of any portion of treasure recovered". Dated July 5, 1875 in San Francisco. The poster does have some minor soiling, a fold line and a few pin holes.
