DSP. An incredibly clean as well as glossy example of this C. 1920's Porcelain Sign from Conoco Gasoline showing the iconic "Minuteman" Soldier graphic. Sign features outstanding red, yellow & blue colors as well as lithographed Soldier on each side. CONDITION: Side one is excellent showing brilliant color & gloss throughout with no inner field chipping. Side one shows minor stress line chipping at the right which has been nicely touched up as well as one pencil eraser sized chip at the top center edge. Side one shows some very minimal outer edge wear but overall incredibly clean, Grade 8.9+. Side two also shows outstanding color & gloss throughout the field but does show some moderate age wear to the Soldier graphic as well as some faint discoloration in the red porcelain. Side two shows one chip at the lower right edge with some minimal chipping along the entire outer edge, Grade 8.5. Sign shows its original grommet at the top edge and overall displays incredibly well. An outstanding and glossy example of this iconic American Service Station Sign from Conoco.
