OUTSTANDING GARGOYLE MOBILOIL PORCELAIN FLANGE SIGN
DSP. C. 1920s. An incredibly clean example of this iconic piece from Mobil with a unique and seldom see variation of "Vacuum Oil Company Rochester U.S.A." at the bottom edge. CONDITION: Each side showing outstanding color & gloss throughout with no notable field wear with impressive condition graphics. Side two shows only one small nick near the far outer edge close to the flange. Outer edges are incredibly clean as well showing faint wear to the mounting holes and one small chip at the flange edge. An impressive example throughout.
