Spectacular, early advertising countertop or window display sign. Made by Western Sand Blast Mfg Co. Ornamental Glass Chicago. Retains three original makers mark labels on the back. The sign has its original wood & gesso frame. On the back of the frame there are two wooden legs that adjust to stabilize the sign for countertop use. The back of the sign houses a convex tin frame that holds the lighting unit and cord. The sign retains its original glass jewels that are affixed in place from holes that are cut in the glass. This is a very unique process that we have never seen before. There are a few minor areas of paint lifting and early touch up which hardly detract from the signs beauty.
