One of the very best reverse painted glass signs known to exist. Reverse-painted glass signs (paint applied to the back of glass so the image is viewed through the front) — these were commonly used in shop windows and as hanging display signs. This early, important investment grade piece with stunning graphics is thought to be one of one. Several “Owl” cigar brands existed (e.g., Owl, White Owl) and the mark (an owl perched on a cigar) became a very common trade image for low-priced cigars around the late 19th / early 20th century. Showing an original brass frame, housing the extraordinary image of the perched owl with large bold lettering "CIGAR STORE". Vivid gold and bronze coloring against the rich black background with detailed scrolls top and bottom give this sign an phenomenal overall look. Four holes have been added in the brass frame for display purposes. Simply one of the very best investment grade centerpiece additions to any advertising collection.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
