Pre-Prohibition. Chicago, IL. Marked "Copyright 1904 By P. Schoenhofen Brewing Co." in the bottom left corner. Manufactured by Forbes Boston, which is marked in the lower right corner. An incredible large, oversized cardboard sign. It has exquisite detail and bright color throughout. CONDITION: The sign shows some general wear, scuffing and scratching. There is scuffing towards the top edge and around the outer edges. There are a couple small tears to the left side, and one to the left side at the bottom of dress on the edge and the woman's left shoulder. There is paper chipping on the right side edge, parallel with the woman's arm. The bottom right corner shows a crack in the paper below the beer. It appears to have the original wood frame with heavy old mustard-like paint.
