PFLUEGER’S BEST WOOD MINNOW

A trade bait dating to the 1910’s, this would likely have been sold by a hardware or sporting goods store under their private label. Excellent Minus wood box retains 95% of the label which has “7AST” stamped on it. One end also carries a “100” label. The bait is an early Pflueger Neverfail Minnow with large gem clip hardware, unmarked props, good glass eyes, and a Very Good or better grade. From the Stephen & Christine Rebic collection. Lure: 2 - 1/2" L.
