PHENOMINAL BRUNSWICK "MONARCH" 9' POOL TABLE

#2-14 C. 1880. Perhaps the most sought after example of an early pool table, the Brunswick Monarch pool table was produced c.1880s. Walnut background with extensive inlay of exotic woods on all surfaces. Genuine 18-karat gold accents. Highly desirable nine-foot size. Inset with a medallion inscribed The Brunswick-Balke-Collender Co., the rails inlaid with bone diamond shape markers above ebonized sides inlaid with rhombus type diamond marquetry panels supported on two pair of cast iron lions back to back. Four-piece slate playing surface. CONDITION: Fully restored, showing little to no wear. NOTE: This pool table is being sold from location in Rockford IL.
