DSP. Sign is Maker Marked SPS & Dated 1966. A very nice all original example of this sign from Phillips 66 Gasoline & Motor Oils. Sign is mounted in the original metal ring and also includes its original hanger attachments at the top side. Side one shows excellent color & gloss throughout the field with only a couple of minimal surface scratches & rub markings in the center. The outer edge shows one area of chipping at the left edge as well as chipping at the top left mounting hole. Side two is also in excellent condition showing excellent color & gloss throughout the field with a moderate amount of removable staining marks throughout the field. Side two also shows chipping at the top right edge as well as chipping at the top right mounting hole. Overall a very nice example of this iconic sign from Phillips 66 Gasoline.
