DSP. Maker Marked "Veribrite Signs. Chicago." A good looking example of this C. 1930's double sided porcelain sign from Phillips Gasoline and Motor Oils featuring great color and shine. CONDITION: Side 1 shows good gloss in the field. There is a series of surface scratches in the field, along with isolated porcelain chips. The outer edges show heavier porcelain loss and wear to the mounting holes (8.25). Side 2 remains in similar condition with isolated chips and heavy scratches in the field. There are a handful of touched up areas in the black background and in a few areas of the orange lettering. The worst of the touch up is in the "T" and "O" of "Motors." The outer edges show minor porcelain loss and general wear (8.0).
